报告题目: Configurations of shock regular reflection by straight wedges

报告摘要:We are concerned with the shock regular reflection configurations of unsteady global solutions for a plane shock hitting a symmetric straight wedge. It has been known that the patterns of shock reflection are various and complicated, including regular and Mach reflection. Most of the fundamental issues for shock reflection have not been understood. Recently there are great progress on the mathematical theory of shock regular reflection problem, especially for the global existence, uniqueness and structural stability of solutions. In this talk, we show that there are two more possible configurations of shock regular reflection besides known four configurations. We also give a brief proof of the global existence of solutions.
报告人简介:王钦,云南大学数学与统计学院副教授,硕士生导师。研究方向为高维守恒律方程组的黎曼问题,在SIAM Journal Math. Anal., J. Differential Equations, Indiana University Mathematics Journal等杂志发表论文十余篇,主持完成国家自然科学基金2项,在研1项,荣获云南省万人计划青年拔尖人才称号。
